In downtown Detroit, Michigan, an ambitious urban redevelopment project aimed to revitalize the city through new and inviting downtown living. To aid in this goal, two modern multifamily buildings were constructed requiring high-efficiency HVAC systems to provide consistent comfort for residents through multiple floors in each structure. Exceeding insulation requirements and preserving the integrity of the building envelope, Thermaduct’s Lineset Portal offered exceptional installation efficiency for all linesets, piping and electrical conduit on the project. With the ability for up to full 50-foot lineset lengths, the system reduced the need for excessive brazing, streamlining the process.
